NolaSec

Welcome to the home page of the NolaSec computer security group!

We an open, informal group that meets around good food and drink to discuss current trends and research in the fields of computer security and digital forensics. We are based in New Orleans, and our members comprise an interesting mix of students, professionals, and hobbyists interested in computer security, digital forensics, malware analysis, and other IT security topics. We grow greatly based on word of mouth so feel free to invite anyone who think may enjoy the group.

We host our monthly meetings on each second Tuesday at the Ace Hotel from 6-8pm. We have one or two presentations per month, each around 20 minutes, and covering topics of interest to our group. No sales pitches are ever allowed - only interesting research and news items of our field.

We also host a yearly conference, BSidesNola: www.bsidesnola.com
